Greetings fancy fish!
I've been hard at work preparing the second edition of Eating Sarah for publication. While I don't yet have a date for when that will go live (I'm aiming for early June), I do have a brand new cover to share! I won't beat around the bush, so here we go!
With this cover, I really wanted to capture the vibe of the book in general. The first version was a more clever twist on a cookbook about cannibals. While I love that cover, the book is approaching four years out in the wild. As I'm overhauling quite a bit of it, it only seemed fitting to re-brand. Plus, with the sequel currently in the works, I wanted something that fit stylistically.
I'm extremely excited to get this rendition of my story about cannibals out. Until next time!

It has been a while.
After much angst, I'm finally back writing again. It may have taken longer than I'd liked, but I've shaken off the rust and am diving in full speed. To kick off my career resurrection, I'm going back to where it all began.
I published Eating Sarah in 2014 with a small press that went by the name of Immortal Ink Publishing. Despite some of the good that came from the experience, there were a number of things I'd been unhappy with. The internal formatting of the book was perhaps my biggest concern, with quotation marks and italics being completely absent in the final product. Regardless, the company has since shut down, leaving me as sole holder of the rights.
For a long time, I considered burying the book, letting it fade away under new projects. There are dozens of books I'm itching to get out, and I'm excited for each them. Still, try as I might, however, I've been unable to shake my dissatisfaction with the current state of Eating Sarah. From the word go, this project was always envisioned as a trilogy. I penned the first draft of the sequel in 2015, but because I have so many negative memories around the formation of the first book, I haven't done anything with the series.
It's 2018 now, however, and my view on the series has changed dramatically. After a ton of consideration, I've decided to revisit the first book. I'm going in and fixing up the formatting issues, as well as improving the writing and fixing various things here and there. While the overall story will remain the same, some of the details are changing. After this, I'll be working on the second book, then following it up with the finale shortly after.
I'll have more news on the updated project soon, but for now, just know that I am not going into this lightly. I'm making good progress, and I don't anticipate it being more than a few weeks before I'll have the new edition ready to go.
Until next time, take care!
